DapperDriver was built to keep small shops alive.
Within the last decade, fashion shifted from curation and creation to selling and consuming. The reins of control moved from the consumer to the seller. We are constantly being sold to, and quality keeps falling, because it is no longer about what the consumer wants. It is about what sellers can convince us we want.
DapperDriver is my personal love letter to fashion. Fashion is one of our biggest forms of self-expression, and no one is exempt from it. We should treat it as an intentional ritual, not a mindless purchase.
I built this company to make the world better in small, connected ways at once. Local boutiques thrive. Local shoppers find new ways to express themselves, no longer bound to the same large stores. Local drivers earn honest work in their own neighborhoods, connecting the boutique and the shopper. And the community itself grows stronger, both financially and culturally.
My life's vision is to leave behind something that makes the world a better place for all of us, and for my children to grow up in. New cycles of community abundance and connection, in place of old cycles of mindless consumption and disconnection. That is the world I'm building.
